Structural Steel Erection Project Manager
Location: Asheville, NC area (Western North Carolina)
Position Overview
Our client, a structural steel erection contractor in Western North Carolina, is hiring a Project Manager to run steel erection projects. This is a permanent, full-time role.
Responsibilities
- Manage steel erection projects from award through closeout
- Own budgets, schedules, change orders and billing
- Coordinate erection crews, cranes, deliveries and fabricators
- Be the main point of contact for GCs and owners
- Track cost and keep projects safe and on schedule
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of project management in structural steel erection or fabrication
- Ability to read erection drawings and specs
- Strong cost control and scheduling skills
- Strong communication and leadership
Compensation
- Competitive salary of $90,000 - $110,000
