Location: Wichita, KS (travel to projects across the Midwest)
Position Overview
Our client, an established heavy civil bridge contractor working on bridge and rail projects throughout the Midwest, is looking for a Structural Engineer - Bridge (Travel). This is a traveling role: you'll be based out of the Wichita area and travel to job sites across the region. Permanent, full-time.
Responsibilities
- Perform design and engineering calculations
- Prepare and review drawings and submittals
- Support field and project teams with technical solutions
- Coordinate with owners, engineers and agencies
- Travel to project sites across the Midwest; per diem/travel covered
Qualifications
- Engineering degree; PE preferred where noted
- 3+ years of relevant engineering experience
- Strong technical and communication skills
- Willing to travel regularly
Compensation
- Base salary: $95,000 - $125,000
- Travel expenses covered
- Strong benefits package
