Bring your steel construction network to an AISC-certified Michigan steel erector that focuses on large Midwest projects of 5,000+ tons. This permanent full-time Business Development Manager role pays $100,000-$200,000 per annum plus bonus incentives and involves Midwest travel.
Key duties
- Lead pursuit strategy for structural steel packages of 5,000+ tons
- Cultivate owners and general contractors across the Midwest for erection work
- Track bids, competitors, and future Midwest projects
- Travel through the Midwest to meet clients and keep pursuits moving
- Represent an AISC-certified Michigan erector with professionalism
What helps you succeed
- Experience selling or developing business in steel erection, structural steel, or heavy construction
- Proven ability to win large Midwest tonnage projects
- Existing ties to general contractors, fabricators, or owners preferred
- Ready to travel across the Midwest
- Strong communicator who converts opportunities into awards
