A respected general contractor in the Chicago area is looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead multifamily projects across the western suburbs. If you enjoy owning a project from preconstruction through turnover and building strong relationships with owners, architects and trade partners, this is a great opportunity to grow with a team that values its people.
What You'll Do
- Lead ground-up and podium-style multifamily projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Own budgets, schedules, buyout, change orders and monthly cost reporting
- Build and keep strong relationships with owners, design teams and subcontractors
- Mentor project managers, assistant PMs and project engineers on your team
- Partner with superintendents to keep projects safe, on schedule and high quality
- Manage risk, contracts and owner billing with clear, steady communication
What You Bring
- 8+ years of project management experience with a commercial general contractor
- A track record delivering multifamily projects, ideally $30M and up
- Strong knowledge of scheduling, cost control and contract management
- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project or similar tools
- A friendly, team-first leadership style
- A construction management or related degree is a plus

- Salary range of $130,000–$170,000 per year, based on experience
