A well-established general contractor in the southwest Chicago suburbs is looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead industrial projects from preconstruction through closeout. You'll work on distribution centers, manufacturing facilities and other ground-up industrial builds with a team that values clear communication and getting things done right.
What You'll Do
- Lead multiple industrial projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Own budgets, schedules, buyout, change orders and monthly forecasting
- Build strong relationships with owners, architects and trade partners
- Mentor project managers, assistant PMs and project engineers
- Partner with field leadership to keep projects safe, on schedule and on budget
- Drive clear reporting and proactive risk management on every job
What You Bring
- 8+ years of project management experience with a general contractor or construction manager
- A track record delivering ground-up industrial, warehouse or manufacturing projects
- Strong financial, contract and scheduling skills
- Degree in construction management, engineering or a related field, or equal experience
- Comfort with Procore, Microsoft Project or P6, and Bluebeam
What We Offer
- Pay range: $135,000–$175,000 per year, based on experience, plus bonus
