SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER
- COMMERCIAL / MULTIFAMILY CONSTRUCTION
Responsibilities:
- Lead projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Manage budgets, forecasting, schedules, contracts, buyout and change orders
- Lead owners, architects, engineers, Superintendents and trade partners
- Oversee project financial performance, profitability and cost control
- Drive constructability, value engineering and problem resolution
- Build strong client relationships and support repeat/new business
- Mentor and develop project team members
IDEAL BACKGROUND
- 10+ years of construction Project Management experience
- Strong commercial General Contractor background
- Multifamily / multi-unit construction experience strongly preferred
- Ground-up apartments, mixed-use, student housing or senior living experience highly desirable
- Strong financial, preconstruction and scheduling capabilities
- Established relationships throughout Greater Southeast Michigan strongly preferred
- Ability to leverage local relationships and help grow the company's regional business
- Procore experience preferred
- Strong leadership and client-facing skills
