A well-established commercial general contractor in Dallas is looking for a Senior Preconstruction Manager to help lead its preconstruction efforts in North Texas. This is a high-visibility role where you'll guide projects from the earliest budgets through final pricing and help win new work.
What You'll Do
- Lead preconstruction on commercial projects from conceptual budgets through GMP
- Prepare and review conceptual, schematic and detailed estimates
- Drive subcontractor outreach, bid leveling and scope reviews
- Partner with owners, architects and operations teams on budgets, value engineering and constructability
- Mentor estimators and help shape how the preconstruction team runs
- Support proposals, pursuits and client interviews
What You Bring
- 10+ years of estimating or preconstruction experience with a commercial general contractor
- A track record of leading large, complex commercial pursuits
- Strong estimating, budgeting and cost-control skills
- Clear communication and the confidence to present to owners and design teams
- A degree in construction management or a related field is a plus
