Safety Director, Structural Fab Shops

Looking for a Safety Director role with real authority? A structural steel fabrication company with three local shops is hiring immediately for a leader who reports directly to leadership and owns safety at all three locations.

What you'll do

• Train crews and develop shop leaders on safe fabrication practices
• Head up the safety program across all 3 fabrication shops
• Spot hazards early and see corrective actions through to the finish
• Lead OSHA compliance efforts, including inspections, audits and incident investigations
• Keep leadership informed with clear safety metrics and results

What we're looking for

• Proven safety leadership in structural steel fabrication or a similar industrial/manufacturing environment
• Steel erection safety experience will also be considered
• Able to run safety across multiple local sites
• Thorough working knowledge of OSHA standards

Compensation & benefits

• $100K–$120K base salary
• Bonus based on company performance
