Remote PEMB Drafter / Detailer (MBS Software)

Our client, an established pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) company, is hiring an experienced PEMB Drafter/Detailer to join its team. This is a fully remote role for someone who knows MBS inside and out and takes pride in clean, accurate drawings.

What you'll do:

• Produce erection drawings, anchor bolt plans and shop/fabrication details for pre-engineered metal buildings
• Build and detail models in MBS software from design and order information
• Check drawings for accuracy, constructability and code compliance
• Work with engineers, project managers and customers to resolve RFIs and revisions
• Keep projects moving on schedule while managing multiple jobs at once

What we're looking for:

• 8+ years of hands-on experience using MBS software
• Strong PEMB drafting and detailing background
• Solid understanding of metal building systems, framing, sheeting and trim
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated and comfortable working remotely
• Clear communicator who meets deadlines

Compensation:

• Hourly pay of up to $40/hour for the right fit, based on experience
