A structural steel fabricator in the Dayton, OH area needs a Quality Control Manager to lead its inspection program and keep every job in line with code, certification, and project requirements.
Main duties:
- Maintain compliance with AWS D1.1/D1.5, AISC certification, and project specs
- Coordinate with third-party inspectors, steel erectors, project managers, and production
- Perform and oversee weld inspection and NDT
- Manage inspection plans, documentation, and NCR/corrective action
Requirements:
- 8+ years of steel fabrication QC experience
- UT Level II preferred
- CWI certification
