Purchasing Manager – Residential Construction
gpac is partnered with a top builder who is seeking a Purchasing Manager to lead procurement efforts for residential construction projects. This role involves vendor management, cost control, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage procurement strategies.
- Lead supplier negotiations for pricing and contract terms.
- Oversee vendor relationships and performance.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with policies and mitigate risks.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of purchasing experience in residential construction.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Knowledge of construction materials and supply chain management.
- Leadership experience and excellent communication skills.
