GPAC is conducting a confidential search on behalf of an established Bay Area commercial general contractor known for high-end interiors and technically demanding lab and life science work. The company is adding a Project Managers (2) and Superintendent - Life Science Construction to its team in South San Francisco, CA. This is an urgent, high-priority opening.
The Role
Focus: Life science, lab, or biotech campus construction experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver Class A office interiors, wet labs, clean rooms and R&D spaces
- Coordinate complex MEP and lab infrastructure in occupied and campus settings
- Manage projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Own budget, schedule, buyout, change orders and monthly forecasting
- Serve as the primary point of contact for owners and design teams
- Lead and mentor project engineers and APMs
Requirements
- Life science, lab, or biotech campus construction experience.
- Proven record of delivering work safely, on time and on budget
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Procore, Bluebeam, P6 or similar a plus
