Our client, an established structural steel contractor, is hiring a Project Manager in Watkinsville, GA. You'll manage structural steel projects from award through closeout, keeping them on schedule, on budget, and safe.
What you'll do
- Manage structural steel projects from contract award through closeout.
- Coordinate detailing, fabrication, delivery, and erection schedules.
- Track budgets, costs, change orders, and billing.
- Handle submittals, RFIs, and shop drawing approvals.
- Act as the main contact for general contractors, engineers, and owners.
- Work with field crews and subcontractors to make sure work meets quality and safety standards.
What you bring
- 3+ years of project management experience in structural steel or miscellaneous metals.
- Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and specifications.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with project management software and Microsoft Office.
- A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is a plus.
