A respected general contractor in the Chicago area is hiring a Project Manager for retail construction. You'll lead store buildouts, renovations and shopping-center work from award through closeout.
What You'll Do
- Manage retail projects from award through closeout
- Own budgets, schedules, buyout and change orders
- Coordinate owners, landlords, design partners and subcontractors
- Drive quality, safety and on-time openings
- Lead closeout, punch lists and turnover documentation
What You Bring
- 5+ years of project management experience with a general contractor
- Retail, tenant improvement or commercial interior experience
- Strong cost and schedule control skills
- Clear communication with clients and the field
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field preferred
