Responsibilities:
- Prepare bids and proposals, gathering quotes for detailing, erection, and coatings
- Keep project costs in check and process RFIs and submittals
- Estimate and take off structural and miscellaneous steel packages
- Serve as the link between general contractors, detailers, the shop, and field crews
- Own the schedule, budget, and change orders on awarded jobs through fabrication and erection
Qualifications:
- Comfortable reading structural and architectural drawings
- Degree in construction management or engineering, or equivalent experience, preferred
- Working knowledge of structural and miscellaneous metals scopes
- 2-8 years of steel estimating, project management, or related construction experience
- Experience with estimating software is a plus
Compensation: $75,000 - $105,000 per year, plus a sign-on bonus for top candidates from competitors and a yearly bonus opportunity.
