Original job description

Southeast Wisconsin is quickly becoming one of the Midwest's biggest data center stories, with large hyperscale campuses rising along the lakeshore north of Milwaukee and down toward Racine County. A well-regarded general contractor is adding a Project Manager to help deliver this mission-critical work. If you enjoy complex builds, a supportive team and seeing a project through from first buyout to final turnover, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

  • Lead data center projects through preconstruction, buyout, construction, commissioning and closeout
  • Manage budgets, schedules, cost reports, change orders and monthly owner billing
  • Keep owners, design teams and trade partners informed and working together
  • Track long-lead electrical and mechanical equipment such as switchgear, generators, UPS systems and chillers
  • Partner with superintendents on safety, quality, sequencing and integrated systems testing
  • Coach and grow project engineers and assistant project managers

What You Bring

  • Project management experience with a general contractor, including data center or mission-critical construction (required)
  • Solid understanding of critical power, cooling systems, MEP coordination and commissioning
  • Strong organization and a steady hand on cost and schedule
  • Friendly, clear communication with owners, engineers and field crews
  • A degree in construction management, engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience

What We Offer

Competitive salary, bonus and benefits, years of mission-critical work in the Milwaukee area, and a team that invests in your growth.
