A growing Chicago general contractor is looking for a Project Manager who likes owning a project from estimate to closeout. You'll work on meaningful commercial projects across the city with a team that values doing the work right.
What You'll Do
- Manage commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Build and track budgets and cost reports in Procore
- Prepare monthly pay applications and keep billing on schedule
- Run estimates and quantity take-offs, and help price new work
- Build and maintain project schedules
- Manage subcontractors, scope changes and change orders
- Keep owners, architects and field teams informed and aligned
What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction
- Hands-on experience with Procore, cost reporting and pay apps
- Solid estimating and take-off skills
- Strong scheduling, organization and communication skills
- A degree in construction management or a related field is a plus
