Job Title: Project Manager – Commercial & Multifamily Construction

Location: Southeast Michigan (On-Site / Local Travel)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Compensation: Competitive Base (up to ~150k USD DOE) + Performance Bonus + Comprehensive Benefits

About the Opportunity:

A premier, well-established Southeast Michigan General Contractor with an expanding project pipeline is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead high-profile commercial and multifamily developments.

If you are looking for autonomy, strong project financial ownership, and a direct path to leadership without the corporate red tape, this is your next move.

(Note: This is a highly confidential search. Company details will be shared after going through questions and next steps during a second conversation interview scheduling after introductory discussion.)

What You’ll Do

Full Project Lifecycle Leadership: Direct major builds from preconstruction and buyout through closeout.
Financial Ownership: Oversee project budgets, cost forecasting, cash flow, and change order management to maximize profitability.
Collaborative Leadership: Partner closely with Owners, Architects, Engineers, and field Superintendents to deliver projects on time and within scope.
Technical Guidance: Drive value engineering, constructability reviews, and proactive risk mitigation.
Team Development: Mentor and develop Assistant PMs and Project Engineers within the company.
Strategic Impact: Leverage established regional subcontractor and trade relationships to ensure seamless project delivery and support long-term regional growth.

What We’re Looking For

8+ years of construction project management experience with a commercial General Contractor.
Multifamily / Commercial Expertise: Demonstrated experience with ground-up apartments, mixed-use, student housing, or senior living builds strongly preferred.
Financial Acumen: Proven track record managing multi-million-dollar budgets, buyouts, and forecasting.
Local Industry Network: Established relationships with trade partners and subcontractors across Greater Southeast Michigan.
Tech-Savvy: Experience with modern construction software (Procore preferred).
Communication: Polished client-facing presentation and leadership capabilities.

What’s in It for You

Competitive Total Compensation: Base salary up to ~150k USD (commensurate with experience) + lucrative project performance bonuses.
Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage.
Retirement: 401(k) with company match.
Perks: Vehicle allowance / company vehicle program, gas card, generous PTO, and holiday schedule.
Stability & Growth: Long-term backlog of local projects in Southeast Michigan.

How to Apply:

Submit your updated resume and project list to brey.owen@gogpac.com for more information and immediate, confidential consideration. Qualified candidates will be contacted to go over questions and next steps.

All inquiries remain strictly confidential.
