Plumbing Estimator

What You'll Do  Review drawings, specifications and bid documents.  Perform plumbing quantity takeoffs and develop labor/material pricing.  Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes.  Identify scope gaps, risks, exclusions and value-engineering opportunities.  Prepare bid summaries and support estimate reviews and project handoffs.  Maintain accurate estimating records and historical cost information.

Qualifications

 2+ years of plumbing or mechanical estimating experience preferred.  Commercial plumbing construction knowledge.  Experience with one or more estimating platforms such as Trimble/Accubid, FastPIPE/FastDUCT, AutoBid Mechanical or QuoteSoft.  Strong blueprint and specification reading skills.  Organized, detail-oriented and able to manage bid deadlines.
