gpac is currently assisting a client in their search for a Millwright that will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, installing, and troubleshooting mechanical equipment throughout the company's grain handling and storage facilities. This position plays a key role in ensuring grain elevators, conveyors, dryers, and related equipment operate safely and efficiently.
Millwright Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and mechanical repairs on grain handling equipment and facilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical issues
- Maintain and repair grain storage, handling, and processing equipment
- Perform welding, cutting, and fabrication repairs one equipment, structural components, and facility systems
- Assist with equipment modifications to improve operational efficiency and reliability
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations
Millwright Qualifications:
- Mechanical, maintenance, or equipment repair experience
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving abilities
- Welding and fabrication experience
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, gearboxes, and mechanical drive systems
- Mechanical or welding certification, technical school training, or equivalent hands on experience
