Millwork Drafter/Engineer, Fairfield, NJ
An established commercial interiors and millwork contractor is seeking a Millwork Drafter/Engineer to produce shop drawings for high-quality architectural millwork projects.
What you'll do:
- Prepare detailed millwork shop drawings from architectural plans
- Engineer casework and millwork for manufacturability and installation
- Revise drawings based on architect and general contractor comments
- Coordinate with project managers and the shop
- Field-verify dimensions when needed
What you bring:
- 3+ years of millwork drafting experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (Microvellum or similar a plus)
- Knowledge of AWI standards, materials, and joinery
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple drawing packages
