About the Company
gpac partners with well established commercial mechanical and sheet metal contractors in the Kansas City market.
About the Role
The Mechanical Detailer produces coordinated sheet metal and mechanical shop drawings for fabrication and installation.
Responsibilities
- Produce sheet metal and mechanical shop and fabrication drawings
- Build 3D models and take part in trade coordination
- Work with project managers, field leadership and the fabrication shop
- Update drawings as designs change
Required
- 2+ years of sheet metal or mechanical detailing experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit or similar detailing software
- Ability to read mechanical drawings
Preferred
- Navisworks or fabrication software experience
- Field or shop experience in sheet metal
Compensation and Benefits
- $65,000 to $90,000, based on experience
