Maintenance Technician

Location: Greater La Crosse Area, WI Pay: $26–$33/hour + Shift Premiums Shift: 6 PM–6 AM | Rotating 12-Hour Schedule

A respected, farmer-owned dairy manufacturer is hiring Maintenance Technicians for a highly automated facility in southwestern Wisconsin.

This is an opportunity to work with advanced robotics, PLCs, automated packaging equipment, and dairy processing systems while supporting a company committed to its employees and agricultural communities.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and automated production equipment.

Maintain PLCs, VFDs, robotics, pumps, conveyors, and packaging machinery.

Diagnose equipment failures and restore production safely.

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.

Support industrial utilities and equipment reliability.

Follow GMP, LOTO, and food safety procedures.

Qualifications

3+ years of industrial maintenance experience required.

Manufacturing maintenance required; food/beverage preferred.

Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

Experience with PLCs, VFDs, and automated equipment.

Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot industrial machinery.

Refrigeration, boilers, wastewater, or dairy processing experience a plus.

Compensation, Schedule & Benefits

$26–$33/hour plus applicable shift premiums.

Two overnight rotating schedules available, both 6 PM–6 AM with alternating weekends.
