Litigation Associate (1-3 years) - Rocky Hill, CT (Hybrid)

I'm working with a collaborative, forward-thinking law firm seeking a Litigation Associate with 1 to 3 years of experience to join its Rocky Hill, CT office. This full-time hybrid role is a great opportunity for a junior attorney to build strong litigation skills. Compensation is $100,000 to $130,000 annually.

What you'll do:

• Assist with all phases of defense litigation, including discovery, motion practice and trial preparation
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and legal memoranda
• Conduct legal research and prepare comprehensive reports and analyses
• Participate in court conferences, depositions and hearings
• Manage deadlines in line with client guidelines
• Maintain accurate time and billing records

What you'll bring:

• 1 to 3 years of litigation experience, preferably in a law firm setting
• Admission to practice in Connecticut; NY, NJ or PA bar admissions a plus
• Strong legal writing, research, analytical and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines consistently
• Insurance defense, professional liability, product liability, federal court or appellate experience a plus, but not required
