Position Responsibilities
- Meet with families and guide them through funeral arrangements
- Coordinate and direct funeral services
- Perform embalming and preparation responsibilities
- Ensure exceptional care and professionalism throughout the arrangement process
- Maintain compliance with applicable state regulations
- Collaborate with funeral home staff to ensure smooth daily operations
- Provide compassionate service to families during difficult times
Qualifications
- Current Funeral Director/Embalmer license, or ability to obtain appropriate Michigan licensure
- 1+ years of experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable with both front-of-house and back-of-house responsibilities
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
- Strong commitment to compassionate family service
- Newly licensed professionals are encouraged to apply
