GPAC is working with a well-respected Agribusiness that is looking to add another Grain Merchandiser to their team. This position is located onsite in Texas. Relocation assistance available for the right candidate.
Grain Merchandiser Responsibilities:
- Capitalize on grain marketing opportunities
- Build relationships with producers throughout the area
- Responsible for buying, contracting and selling various commodities
- Will secure and purchase a reliable supply of high-quality commodities at competitive prices
- Monitor future markets on a regular basis
- Work alongside owner to take over some of his duties
- Possibility of taking over a new location
Grain Merchandiser Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2+ years' experience merchandising/originating preferred
- Proficient in various software systems
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with corn and milo highly preferred
- Logistics experience is a plus
