Flexographic Press Operator
Seeking an experienced Flexographic Press Operator to turn job specifications into accurately printed, high-quality labels while keeping production on schedule.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and run flexographic presses for label production
- Load plates, inks, anilox rolls and cutting dies for each job
- Fine-tune color, registration and press settings to meet specifications
- Handle changeovers and resolve mechanical or printing problems
- Check print quality throughout each run and inspect completed labels
- Perform routine press upkeep and keep the work area clean
Requirements
- At least 2 years of hands-on flexographic press experience
- Working knowledge of inks, plates, press setup and registration
- Ability to diagnose equipment problems and correct print defects
- Strong mechanical skills and a careful eye for detail
- Label printing, packaging or converting experience preferred
- Web tension control and rotary die-cutting experience helpful, but not required
