Fire Alarm Designer

We are partnered with an established and rapidly growing fire protection and life safety system contractor who is actively looking to add a proven Fire Alarm Designer to their growing team! They are family owned and have a great reputation for supporting the growth of their employees and are dedicated to maintaining an outstanding work culture.

Fire Alarm Designer Qualifications:

• 10+ years’ experience
• NICET Level III or higher in Water-Based Systems
• Proficient in AutoCAD, HydraCAD or AutoSPRINK and BIM Coordination
• Must know NFPA codes
• Must be self-motivated and work well with others
• Detail oriented and organized with great communication skills
• Ability to travel to job sites and attend meetings when necessary
• Experience designing for industrial buildings

Fire Alarm Designer Responsibilities:

• Design fire protection systems for industrial buildings
• Produce detailed drawings and hydraulic calculations for fire sprinkler systems
• Perform field surveys
• Communicate with contractors and subcontractors to gather documentation
