Confidential Opportunity
GPAC is conducting a confidential search on behalf of a fast-growing California general contractor with a Bay Area portfolio spanning corporate, healthcare, education and housing. The company is adding a Field Engineer - Commercial Construction to its team in Bay Area, CA. This is an urgent, high-priority opening.
The Role
Focus: Field engineering experience with a commercial general contractor, or a construction-related degree and a strong desire to grow in the field.
Responsibilities
- Support large commercial projects across the Bay Area
- Manage RFIs, submittals and project documentation
- Support field and office teams with coordination and quality control
- Develop skills on a clear path toward project management
Requirements
- Field engineering experience with a commercial general contractor, or a construction-related degree and a strong desire to grow in the field.
- Proven record of delivering work safely, on time and on budget
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Procore, Bluebeam, P6 or similar a plus
