A well-established commercial builder in the Dallas–Fort Worth area is looking for a Field Engineer to support its project teams on the jobsite. This is a great spot for someone early in their career who wants hands-on field experience and a clear path toward project engineering or superintendent roles.
What You'll Do
- Support the superintendent with daily field operations, layout and coordination
- Review drawings and specifications and help resolve field questions and RFIs
- Track submittals, material deliveries and as-built documentation
- Walk the site with trade partners to check work quality, progress and safety
- Keep daily reports, photos and logs organized and up to date
- Help with punch lists, inspections and project closeout
What You Bring
- 0–3 years of experience with a general contractor or in a construction field role
- A degree in construction management, engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Comfort reading plans and using Procore, Bluebeam or similar tools
- Strong communication, organization and a willingness to learn
- A safety-first mindset and enthusiasm for being out in the field
