Join a growing steel fabrication team serving the Brookshire, TX area as Safety Coordinator. This permanent full-time role brings steady overtime of about 10 hours a week, incredible benefits, and room to grow.
Responsibilities
- Investigate incidents; keep OSHA documentation current
- Partner with leadership to build a strong safety culture
- Run the shop's day-to-day safety programs
- Conduct inspections and audits and correct hazards
- Lead toolbox talks, safety trainings, and new-hire orientations
Requirements
- Safety background in a manufacturing, fabrication, or construction environment
- Working knowledge of OSHA standards
- Strong communication skills; comfort working on a shop floor
- Ability to work on-site in Brookshire, TX, including about 10 hours of overtime per week
