A well-established general contractor in the Chicago area is adding an Estimator to its mission critical team. You'll build conceptual and detailed estimates for data center projects, working hand in hand with project managers and preconstruction leaders.
What You'll Do
- Prepare conceptual and detailed estimates for data center projects
- Perform quantity takeoffs across all construction systems
- Solicit, level and analyze subcontractor pricing
- Partner with project managers on budgets and value options
- Support proposals and owner presentations
What You Bring
- 3+ years of estimating experience with a general contractor
- Data center, mission critical or complex commercial experience preferred
- Strong takeoff skills and comfort with estimating software
- Detail-oriented with clear written and verbal communication
- Ability to work onsite in the office most of the week

- Pay range: $95,000–$125,000 per year, based on experience, plus bonus
