We are seeking a detail-oriented Lumber Estimator with proven expertise in material take-offs, cost analysis, and a strong understanding of wood construction methods, building codes, and industry best practices.

Job Type: Full Time, On-site

Responsibilities for the Estimator:

• Perform accurate material take-offs for framing lumber, sheathing, and related components from architectural and structural drawings.
• Collaborate with procurement to develop cost analyses and competitive bid packages.
• Partner with design, sales, and field operations teams to ensure accuracy and timely project delivery.
• Utilize estimating software such as PlanSwift, Trade Tek, or similar platforms.
• Maintain organized records of all estimates, bids, and supporting documentation.

Requirements of the Estimator:

• 3+ years of experience estimating framing packages for residential or commercial construction.
• Strong ability to read and interpret architectural and structural plans.
• In-depth knowledge of wood framing methods, materials, and building codes.
• Excellent math skills with keen attention to detail.
• Highly organized with strong communication and collaboration abilities.
