My client is seeking an ERISA and employee benefits attorney to join their team in Minneapolis.
What you'll do:
- Counsel clients on compliance across qualified retirement plans, including multiemployer and defined benefit plans
- Advise on health and welfare plans, including ACA compliance and controversy matters
- Draft plan documents, amendments, and related benefits materials
- Handle the employee benefits aspects of M&A transactions
What they're looking for:
- 3 to 6 years of broad ERISA and employee benefits experience
- Excellent academic credentials and strong writing skills
- Bar admission in the jurisdiction of practice
- Executive compensation or ESOP experience preferred
- DOL or IRS benefits controversy experience a plus
