I'm recruiting environmental attorneys for Boston-area law firms. You'd counsel clients on regulatory, transactional, and litigation matters at the intersection of law, science, and business.
What you'll do
- Advise on compliance under federal and Massachusetts environmental laws, including Chapter 21E and the MCP
- Handle permitting matters with MassDEP and EPA
- Support environmental diligence for real estate and corporate deals
- Litigate cost recovery, enforcement, and CERCLA matters
- Counsel clients on energy, climate, and land use issues
What you bring
- JD and an active Massachusetts bar license
- About 3-8 years of environmental law experience
- Comfort working with technical consultants and data
- Strong writing and client counseling skills
