Electrical Construction Field Safety Specialist

Our client, an established electrical contractor in the St. Louis area, is adding a Field Safety Specialist to its team. This full-time, onsite role is a great fit for someone early in their safety career who likes working hands-on with field crews. Entry-level candidates are welcome.

What you'll do:

• Build trust and strong working relationships with field teams
• Lead orientations, toolbox talks and safety training
• Perform regular jobsite audits, assess hazards and take immediate corrective action
• Respond to and investigate incidents, and document near misses, injuries and property damage
• Work with customers, peers and other trades on project safety plans

What we're looking for:

• High school diploma, or equivalent experience in a construction safety role
• OSHA 30 Construction training
• Electrical industry experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, environmental health, risk management or a related field preferred
• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office
