Original job description

Commercial Drywall Project Manager

A well-established commercial interiors contractor is hiring a Drywall Project Manager to lead projects across their full scope: drywall, acoustical ceilings, structural framing, and light gauge metal framing. You'll own projects from award through closeout on a strong pipeline of commercial work, including office, healthcare, education, retail, and multifamily projects.

What you'll do

  • Manage commercial drywall, acoustical ceiling (ACT), light gauge metal framing, and structural/CFS framing projects from handoff through closeout
  • Build and maintain project schedules, and coordinate manpower with field superintendents and foremen
  • Own budgets, cost tracking, forecasting, and monthly billing
  • Process submittals, RFIs, change orders, and shop drawings
  • Procure materials and manage vendor and subcontractor relationships
  • Serve as the main point of contact for general contractors, architects, and owners
  • Drive safety, quality, and on-time delivery on every job

What you'll bring

  • 3+ years of project management experience in commercial drywall, framing, or interior systems
  • Working knowledge of ACT systems, metal stud framing, structural/CFS framing, and fire-rated and acoustical assemblies
  • Strong blueprint and spec reading skills
  • Experience with scheduling, job costing, and project management software (Procore, MS Project, or similar)
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Estimating or field experience is a plus

What's offered

  • Competitive base salary plus bonus potential
  • Health, dental, and vision benefits
  • 401(k) with match
  • Paid time off and holidays
  • Stable company with consistent backlog and growth opportunities
