An established and reputable agricultural business in central Missouri is in need of a Diesel Mechanic. This individual will be responsible for performing hands-on diesel repair and maintenance, primarily working on semi-trucks and other diesel trucks, with potential exposure to agricultural equipment as well.
Diesel Mechanic Responsibilities:
• Perform diesel repair and maintenance on semi-trucks and other diesel trucks
• Diagnose mechanical issues and troubleshoot equipment as needed
• Complete general maintenance and repairs to keep equipment operating efficiently
• Work on a variety of equipment within an established diesel repair shop
• Assist with additional mechanical needs as they arise
Diesel Mechanic Qualifications:
• Previous diesel mechanic or heavy equipment repair experience
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Experience working on semi-trucks and diesel engines preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Agricultural equipment experience is a plus
Compensation & Benefits:
• $25–$40/hour, depending on experience
• Health insurance offered
• Potential performance-based bonus structure
