Original job description

New Albany has become one of the busiest data center corridors in the Midwest, with hyperscale campuses going up just northeast of Columbus. A well-established general contractor is adding a Data Center Project Manager to help deliver large mission-critical builds in central Ohio. If you like big, fast-moving projects and a team that has your back, this could be a great fit.

What You'll Do

  • Manage data center projects from preconstruction and buyout through commissioning and turnover
  • Keep budgets, cost forecasts, change orders and schedules accurate and up to date
  • Coordinate with owners, design teams and electrical and mechanical trade partners
  • Partner with superintendents to keep every site safe, organized and moving forward
  • Guide and develop assistant project managers and project engineers
  • Keep owners informed with clear, honest updates on progress and risks

What You Bring

  • Project management experience with a general contractor, including data center or mission-critical work (required)
  • Working knowledge of critical power, cooling, heavy MEP coordination and phased turnovers
  • Solid scheduling, cost control and documentation skills
  • An easygoing, team-first attitude and strong communication skills
  • A degree in construction management, engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience

What We Offer

Salary range of $125,000–$170,000, plus bonus and benefits, a steady pipeline of mission-critical work in the Columbus market, and a supportive team that wants to see you grow.
