A community bank in Coralville is hiring a Credit Analyst to support its lending team across Johnson County and eastern Iowa. You'll partner closely with loan officers, and the role offers a clear path toward lending or credit leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Spread and analyze financial statements on new requests and renewals
- Assign risk ratings to commercial and ag credits and keep them current
- Draft clear credit write-ups for loan officers and committee
- Assist with month-end reporting and regulatory requests
- Track covenants, exceptions, and loan policy compliance
- Help newer staff learn credit processes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- A year or more of commercial or ag credit analysis preferred
- Skilled with Excel and financial spreading tools
- Detail-minded with sound analytical judgment
- Interested in growing into a lending or credit role
