A community bank in Rifle is hiring a Credit Analyst to support its lending team across Garfield County and the Western Slope. You'll work closely with loan officers on underwriting and risk rating, with a path toward lending or credit leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Spread and analyze financials for commercial, real estate, and ag borrowers
- Assign risk ratings to new loans and watch existing credit lines
- Write clear credit memos that support lending decisions
- Assist with month-end, regulatory, and loan review reporting
- Support compliance with loan policy and exam requirements
- Help train and mentor newer team members
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
- A year or more as a bank credit analyst preferred
- Comfortable with spreadsheets and financial modeling
- Strong writer and clear communicator
- Wants to grow into lending or senior credit
