Original job description
Controls Engineer | Build It. Program It. Make It Work.
Some engineers maintain machines. Others bring them to life.
If you enjoy taking a custom automation project from concept to a fully functioning machine, this opportunity deserves a look.
We're looking for a Controls Engineer who loves solving problems, writing code, integrating robotics and motion systems, and making complex equipment do exactly what it's supposed to do.
What makes this interesting?
• Real engineering: Design, program, troubleshoot, and commission custom automation systems.
• Variety: PLCs, HMIs, robotics, servo motion, vision systems, and industrial networks.
• Ownership: Follow your projects from initial design through startup and customer acceptance.
• Collaboration: Work directly with mechanical engineers, electricians, and project teams.
• Challenge: Different machines, different problems, and opportunities to lead projects.
What you'll bring:
• 5+ years of hands-on controls engineering experience.
• Strong Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLC programming skills.
• Experience integrating HMIs, motion controls, sensors, and industrial equipment.
• The ability to troubleshoot, solve problems, and get equipment running.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for commissioning and customer support.
If you enjoy seeing a machine come to life because of the work you did, let's talk.
