A growing commercial general contractor in the DFW area is hiring a Controller to lead accounting and financial reporting. You'll partner with ownership and operations to keep job costs, cash flow and reporting accurate and on time.
What You'll Do
- Manage monthly close, financial statements and job cost reporting
- Oversee WIP schedules, revenue recognition and project billing
- Lead AP, AR, payroll and the accounting team
- Manage audits, insurance, bonding and lender reporting
- Improve accounting processes and systems
What You Bring
- 7+ years of accounting experience, with construction industry experience required
- Strong knowledge of WIP, percentage of completion and job costing
- Experience with construction accounting software (Viewpoint, Sage or similar)
- CPA preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
