A growing Phoenix construction company is looking for an experienced Controller to lead its accounting and financial operations. Previous construction industry experience is not required, but hands-on experience with FOUNDATION Software is a plus.
This is a key position for someone who understands the Controller function, enjoys improving processes, and can step into a growing organization and take ownership of the financial side of the business.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Oversee day-to-day accounting and financial operations
- Manage month-end and year-end close
- Prepare and review financial statements and reporting
- Oversee AP, AR, payroll, general ledger, and reconciliations
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow
- Maintain strong internal controls and accounting processes
- Work closely with company leadership on financial reporting and business decisions
- Utilize FOUNDATION Software for accounting and financial management
What We’re Looking For
- Prior Controller or senior-level accounting experience
- Solid knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Experience overseeing accounting processes and teams
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Construction experience is helpful, but not required
