Construction Litigation Attorney | 2+ Years Experience
A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Construction Litigation Attorney with at least 2 years of litigation experience to join its team. This role involves representing clients in a broad range of construction-related disputes, from pre-litigation counseling through trial.
Responsibilities:
- Represent owners, contractors, subcontractors, developers, and/or design professionals in construction litigation and disputes
- Draft and respond to pleadings, discovery, and motions
- Handle matters involving construction defects, contract disputes, delay claims, mechanic's liens, and payment disputes
- Take and defend depositions
- Represent clients at mediation, arbitration, and in state and federal court
- Advise clients on construction contract review and risk management
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of litigation experience; construction litigation experience preferred
- Active bar admission to New Hampshire
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Experience with discovery, motion practice, and court appearances preferred
- Ability to manage a caseload independently in a fast-paced environment
