Construction Litigation Attorney
A highly respected national law firm is seeking a Construction Litigation Attorney with 3+ years of experience to join its Tampa office. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated litigator to work on complex construction defect and commercial construction disputes within a well-resourced, collaborative, and nationally recognized litigation team.
What You’ll Do • Represent developers, general contractors, subcontractors, design professionals, and insurers in construction defect and commercial construction litigation. • Handle discovery, depositions, hearings, mediations, motion practice, and trial preparation. • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery responses, and legal memoranda. • Analyze claims, evaluate liability and damages, and develop effective litigation strategies. • Work closely with partners and senior attorneys on high-value, multi-party disputes.
What We’re Looking For • Active member in good standing with The Florida Bar (or ability to waive in). • 3+ years of experience in construction litigation, construction defect, or related commercial litigation. • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills. • Deposition, hearing, or trial experience preferred. • Ability to manage cases independently while collaborating within a litigation team. • Strong client communication and relationship-building skills.
Why Join • Hybrid schedule with flexibility. • Opportunity to join a national firm with a strong construction litigation practice and exceptional mentorship culture. • Competitive compensation and bonus potential. • Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and generous PTO. • Access to advanced litigation resources, litigation support, and cross-office collaboration. • Real opportunities for long-term growth, increased responsibility, and professional development.
If you’re a construction litigator seeking a strong platform, challenging work, and a long-term career home in Jacksonville, this role offers an outstanding next step.
