Original job description
Houston litigators: handle sophisticated product liability defense with real client interaction and a full support team, with employee health premiums covered and $110K–$210K plus generous bonuses.
Our recruiting team is working directly with leadership at a well-established Texas civil litigation defense firm that is adding a Commercial Litigation Attorney to its growing Houston team. The work centers on product liability defense, including industrial and commercial product claims, catastrophic injury, multi-party litigation, and other complex civil disputes. This Commercial Litigation Attorney role is for a litigator who can manage files independently and wants mentorship plus long-term growth. A portable book is welcome but not required.
The Houston team is growing, and the wide $110K–$210K range leaves room for both a 2-year associate and a seasoned litigator.
What We Need
- 2+ years of litigation; product liability defense exposure preferred
- Written discovery, depositions, motion practice, hearings, and case strategy
- Ability to manage files independently
- Expert witness, mediation, and trial-prep experience highly valued
- Texas Bar license in good standing; portable book welcome, not required
- Desire to grow and advance with the firm over the long term
What You Get
- $110K–$210K, depending on experience, plus generous performance-based bonuses
- Employee health premiums covered, plus a 401(k) with match
- Sophisticated defense matters and real client interaction
- Strong support staff (assistants, paralegals, IT), so you can focus on practicing law
- Direct mentorship and long-term growth
- A professional, organized, and collaborative environment
Pay is competitive at the top of the market for an individual with similar experience.
