Location: Manhattan Beach, CA
Position Type: Full-Time
About the Role
A highly respected litigation practice is seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Attorney to manage a dynamic and diverse caseload. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with a high-caliber client roster.
Enjoy the flexibility of working fully remote or out of a Manhattan Beach office, supported by a collaborative team culture that prioritizes autonomy, mentorship, and work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
• Handle complex commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution, including single-plaintiff, class action, and specialized regulatory matters (such as California Proposition 65).
• Manage a varied docket of various litigation cases-including some entertainment law.
• Conduct discovery, draft critical motions and pleadings, handle depositions, and represent clients in arbitrations and occasional court trials.
• Maintain clear, responsive communication with team members and clients.
• Pitch in across all phases of litigation with a collaborative, team-first mindset.
Qualifications
• Experience: 3+ years of complex commercial litigation experience preferred.
• Specialized Knowledge: Exposure to Proposition 65 litigation or entertainment law is a significant plus.
• Professional Attributes: Pragmatic, self-directed, and responsive, with strong research, writing, and analytical skills. A team player who takes ownership of matters without pretense.
Why Join?
• Work-Life Balance & Autonomy: Work in a true non-micromanaged environment where individual balance is valued.
• Mentorship & Culture: Receive direct mentorship from senior attorneys at the firm. The team operates in a collegial, low-ego environment where mutual support is the standard.
• Flexibility: Complete schedule flexibility with full remote options available.
