A community bank in Oelwein is confidentially hiring a Commercial Lender to build and manage business relationships across Fayette County and northeast Iowa. The role focuses on new business, underwriting, structuring, and closing commercial loans.
Responsibilities:
- Identify client needs and recommend the right credit and deposit solutions
- Grow a portfolio of local businesses and real estate investors
- Analyze creditworthiness and risk on new and existing loans
- Prepare loan memos, proposals, and supporting documents
- Open new accounts and cross-sell treasury services
- Meet production and relationship growth goals
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Commercial lending or credit experience
- Comfortable presenting proposals to business owners
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Organized and able to manage several deals at once
