A community bank in Anamosa is confidentially hiring a Commercial Lender to grow business relationships across Jones County and eastern Iowa. The role focuses on new business, underwriting, structuring, closing, and relationship management.
Responsibilities:
- Learn each client's needs and recommend the right credit and deposit solutions
- Build a portfolio of local businesses and commercial real estate clients
- Analyze creditworthiness and risk on new loans and renewals
- Prepare loan memos, proposals, and loan documents
- Open new accounts and cross-sell treasury services
- Reach production and relationship growth goals
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Commercial lending or credit experience
- Comfortable presenting proposals to business owners
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Organized and able to handle several deals at once
